The motley list of ingredients

In June we are headed to Ohio to see the new nephew (due May 22) and have Christian's graduation party. The theme for the party is "Southern BBQ" and we were lucky enough to have the guy who did the Christmas BBQ from our apartment complex offer to make the pork butts for the party. That means we will have 80-100 lbs of smoked porky deliciousnes that needs to go into our freezer. As you can imagine, we are back to eating from the freezer.

We have all of the food I prepped for post surgery meals almost gone, so that will leave us with random things like 3 chicken quarters, a bag of lima beans and a 2 lb. chunk of Parmesan cheese. Normally, a list like this would mean soup, but here in Mississippi it has been in the high 80s all week, so I think we will end up with quiche and casseroles. Maybe some soup. I love soup. :o) Of course, I am still not supposed to be cooking, so that makes this even more fun! Luckily, I have 2 kids that can cook anything and 1 that can follow directions like nobody's business!

Any ideas? What do you do when you have a motley list of ingredients?
